Yellow, purple, red, green, blue, pink and orange - just some of the many colors of beautiful and splendid wildflowers in bloom here and in Sequoia National Park. Plus, the Kaweah River running through our backyard provides wonderful sights and soothing sounds. Spring is here and you should be too!

The Buckeye Tree Lodge is located 1/4 mile from the entrance to
Sequoia National Park, at 1,300 feet above sea level deep in
the Kaweah River Canyon of the surrounding Sierra Nevada
Mountains. The Middle Fork of the Kaweah River roars mightily
in the spring across the Buckeye’s two acres but slows to a
meandering and gentle pace by late summer and fall.
With all rooms set along the banks of the Kaweah River, the
river views and sounds from each room and balcony are simply spectacular. The Buckeye's beautiful grounds include a grassy lawn and picnic area overlooking the river with huge native Sycamore trees to provide shade during warm summer afternoons. We also have
picnic tables, chairs and charcoal barbeques available on a
first come, first serve basis.
